What Causes Bad Breath?

Bad breath is commonly caused by germs and plaque that build up in the mouth, and can lead to bad breath. While some people only suffer on occasion from bad breath, others have to suffer from it often, and it can be a very embarrassing problem. There are other possible causes of bad breath that are not necessarily related to proper dental hygiene. Certain medical conditions can cause bad breath; medications can cause bad breath and also certain foods.
